Our President, Rayah Levy, was recently featured on the Diamond Club West Coast! Diamond Club West Coast, Inc (DCWC) is an affiliate of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and is based out of Los Angeles, CA. The club serves members with businesses based in California. Background
Rayah grew up between Los Angeles and Israel before moving to the Bay Area for college at 17. She now resides in Marin County. Before entering the jewelry industry, she was a pioneer in the art world, launching the first online gallery at 21, acquiring key online domains, and creating the world’s first art fund. She worked with Old Masters, developed due diligence programs for banks, collaborated with the Monuments Men, and served as an expert witness on Nazi-looted art restitution, testifying before Congress twice.
Why Diamonds?
For years, Rayah worked with high-net-worth art collectors, frequently encountering diamonds in their portfolios. Initially hesitant to enter the industry, her decade-long financial analysis led her to recognize colored diamonds as one of the strongest global investments. She spent nearly ten years developing a financial model for colored diamond investments and now runs a firm that sources and invests in rare stones for clients.
What Sets Her Apart?
Rayah specializes in wealth preservation through colored diamonds, leveraging her finance background to offer a service-driven, boutique approach rather than a sales-focused model.
Industry Challenges
She believes education is a key issue — both for investors and industry professionals in presenting colored diamonds. The industry is undergoing a major transformation, with evolving regulations, shifting consumer expectations, and a need for better market oversight.

Rayah prides herself on transparency and honesty. Unlike traditional sellers, she focuses on financial strategies rather than pushing sales, offering a personalized and hands-on experience for clients.
DCWC Involvement
Despite living far from Los Angeles, Rayah has been an active member of the Diamond Club West Coast for four years, contributing to the newsletter and digital committees. She writes articles, provides data, and is always available to assist fellow members. She sees the Club as a valuable resource for networking, learning, and growth, though she acknowledges the challenges of remote participation.
